The board game, Cattle Barons of the Great Plains 1860 to 1884, is a turn based card drawing and economic game set in the 19thc Great Plains states of the USA. The game includes 1 map of the Great Plains States 48” x 36” at 22 miles to the hex, circa 1880s A. D., 1,122 chit counters, 11 pages of tables, 100 event cards, 60 major rancher character cards, 234 minor rancher character cards, 8 Records Tracks, 2-6 sided dice,1-10 sided die. Players compete with others to become the largest cattle rancher of the Great Plains, while providing the whole family with hours of entertainment, while learning a great deal about cattle ranching and economics in the 19thc Great Plains States of the USA.
