The board game, Pirates & Privateers of the Caribbean 1640 to 1679, is a turn based card drawing and war game set in the 17thc Caribbean and Spanish Main area. The game includes 1 map of the Caribbean Sea Area 48” x 36” at 10.5 miles to the hex, circa 1670’s A. D., 1,200 chit counters, 17 pages of tables, 128 event cards, 60 character cards, 32 ship profiles, 11 types of Wind Dials. 4 Records Tracks, 2-6 sided dice, 3-10 sided dice. Players can choose to be a pirate or privateer from one of the five countries represented providing the whole family with hours of entertainment, while learning a great deal about the political, economic and warfare in the 17thc Caribbean and Spanish Main (New Spain, New Granada and province of Venezuela).
